This caused the round side as seen in the picture above. Once I had completed this to all 5 long cylinders I attached all the models together and then selected the polygon on the end face of each long cylinder facing the (while also selecting the polygon of the big radius facing towards the long cylinder) and bridged them together. I inseted twice the end face and moveed them out to create a round end. ![]() I then switched to polygon and selected the end face of the 5 cylinders. I did this by selecting the vertices on each cylinder pointing away from the big radius cylinder and then scaling them to be small. I manipulated the long cylinders to create a cone shape on each of the five ends. Once I was satisfy I changed all the cylinders to editable poly which allow you to edit your model. I then rotated the five length cylinders to create a star shape around the big radius cylinder. ![]() I first created 6 cylinder models into 3ds max (5 long length ones and one with a big radius). Using the reference images above as a guideline, I started to create the starfish model.
